Pensando nos jogadores que perderam suas comunidades gamers, que acabam sendo descontinuadas, a Heineken 0.0 lançou o “Bar Servers”, que revitalizou jogos encerrados pelas empresas desenvolvedoras através da instalação de servidores em geladeiras de Heineken 0.0 presentes em dois bares da capital paulista nos dias 20 e 23 de março, onde a comunidade gamer pôde se reunir para matar a saudade dos jogos e socializar com outros fãs.

Criada em conjunto pela LePub São Paulo, Milão e Singapura, a iniciativa começou no Brasil com o jogo “No Heroes Here”, seguido por “Dandy Ace” – ambos da Mad Mimic – onde tiveram seus servidores ativos nos bares Boteco Central e Viella São Bento respectivamente, em São Paulo. O Bar Servers também aconteceu no Japão, através da LePub Singapura, com a reativação do jogo “Omens of Sorrow”. “Um dos princípios fundamentais da Heineken é promover a socialização. Quando um jogo online é descontinuado, toda a comunidade em torno dele também se dissolve, como se estivéssemos fechando um bar. Por isso, a Heineken 0.0 quer manter viva essas comunidades gamers, garantindo a socialização entre elas”, afirma Bruna Rosato, gerente de marketing da marca no Brasil.

“Ao atribuir um novo papel ao bar, permitindo a conexão com uma nova audiência, a companhia dá um passo importante na criação de um fluxo de potenciais consumidores. Promover a socialização nas comunidades é uma maneira inovadora de elevar os momentos de diversão. Ao transformarmos as geladeiras de Heineken em servidores que revivem jogos e reúnem uma comunidade antes dispersa, unimos propósito e produto de forma significativa”, explica Felipe Cury, copresidente e CCO da LePub São Paulo. A ação aconteceu no Boteco Central no dia 20 de março com o jogo No Heroes Here e no Viella São Bento no dia 23 de março com o jogo Dandy Ace, ambos bares localizados no centro de São Paulo.
